To "Lisa"

This post is to Lisa from the My Charming Kids Blog Frog community. I had asked her a question yesterday and I wanted to post a reply but the thread she started has been locked. I don't want to start a new thread there and I am not sure if she will ever see this on my blog. My heart has been very heavy for her since I read the thread she started yesterday. Here is a link if you want to read it:

I asked her if she was a Christian and she replied yes. Her post's seemed to show that she feels wronged by someone. As a sister-in-Christ, I humbly want to encourage her to forgive this person (for whatever they did or didn't do). I know first hand how hard it is to carry around the baggage of unforgiveness and anger.

Lisa, God will free you from this trap of anger. You can learn so much from this by allowing Him to help you forgive this person. Learning to love someone you dislike (or who wronged you) is one of the most humbling experiences I have had, and I pray you will have this experience too!

  2. Thank you so much for admiring my babies! :)

Not as payback or anything, but your beautiful daughter looks like she's fun! I love that hair.

And your wedding picture is fabulous.

  3. Hi Erica,

At the time I was a little hesitant about posting a link to my testimony. But I knew that God wanted someone to read it. I so glad that you can be encouraged by it. And YES...it's Hosanna! in Lakeville. I live in Burnsville. What a small world! I pray that you and your husband will be united in whatever you decide to do. I do know that there's the Dave Ramsey Simulcast on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 12 - 5 at H! I've heard it's absolutely amazing!

I also read your post above about "Lisa" on BF. Funny, but I had read that thread too and I agree that she is a very angry person. I have a hard time reading all those comments on there. Some of those commenters are very hateful and that's just so sad.

I'm following your blog now and I hope we can meet one day. Do you go to Hosanna?

  4. Hi Christine!

No, I don't go to Hosanna but my mom has been there a couple times. We have been going to Mount Olivet Assembly of God in Apple Valley but feel God is trying to guide us somewhere else. It has not been easy trying to figure out where he wants us! Maybe we can visit Hosanna soon :)

Thank you so much for adding the link to your testimony. It was such a blessing to read it. I am actually going to have my husband read it because we know God is calling him to do something else right now. We both are making a great living and I can see how money is starting to control us!
